Laurie Ann March is an avid backpacker, hiker and wilderness canoeist. The outdoors isn’t merely a hobby for Laurie—it is her passion. She is an instructor of wilderness cooking and family camping workshops, and she also enjoys her work as owner and editor of the self-propelled adventure e-zine OutdoorAdventureCanada.com. She is the author of A Fork in the Trail: Mouthwatering Meals and Tempting Treats for the Backcountry (2008) and Another Fork in the Trail: Vegetarian and Vegan Recipes for the Backcountry (2011) and a regular food contributer for Seattle Backpackers Magazine.
