TELEVISION: Martina Scholtens on NBC29

During a lecture at the Univeristy of Virginia in Charlottesville this week, Dr. Martina Scholtens told students that she wants people to look at refugees as more than just a political issue. Martina was invited to present as part of the Medical Center Hour series for UVA students. She shared passages from her book, Your Heart is the Size of Your Fist: A Doctor Reflects on Ten Years at a Refugee Clinic, and her experiences working as a refugee physician. Watch the clip here.
