Dog Photo Contest: In the Dog Kitchen

Calling all paw-rents! We're looking for 25 pups to feature in the new edition of Julie Van Rosendaal's In the Dog Kitchen.

Julie Van Rosendaal's In the Dog Kitchen holds all the great recipes you need to have your furry friend eating like royalty. So, if you've ever thought to yourself, my dog's beautiful face should be immortalized, here's your chance!

To enter, follow @touchwooded and @dinnerwithjulie and post a photo of your dog on Instagram using the hashtag #TouchWoodDogs. 

Winners will receive a copy of the printed book!

Terms & Conditions

1. Contest will run from December 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026 at 11:59 pm PST.
2. Photos must be taken by the person who submitted. Professional photos will not be accepted. 
3. Photos must be 7x7" or have the capacity to be cropped to 7x7" with no impact to the subject of the photo. 
4. Photos must be portrait and at least 300 dpi. Here's a helpful tool to understand how image resolution works. 
5. Winners must sign a photo release form. 
6. Photos do not have to be holiday themed. In fact, we prefer a variety of photos.
   
7. We will be contacting winners the week of January 5, 2026 - January 9, 2026 through Instagram with congratulations and further instruction.
8. Winners will be expected to deliver a high resolution image, contact, and mailing information for their complimentary copy.
9. Submissions must be from Canada or the United States.
