


<p><strong>Andrew Calderone</strong> is an author and filmmaker from Toronto. His first novel, <i>Thirsty Scholars</i>, was crafted at the Humber School for Writers and his second novel, <i>Borders in the Sand</i>, was written whilst roaming Central America and the Dominican Republic. Andrew also wrote and co-directed the award-winning films<i> Cold Is My Brother </i> and <i>Exit Interview</i> (CBC). He has studied at University College Cork in Ireland, the University of the West Indies in Barbados, and York University in Toronto, and served as an editor for <i>PRISM International </i>at the University of British Columbia. Food and storytelling have taken Andrew across the globe.<br></p>
